Battles

It's kind of early, I have to eat breakfast and go to Russia, but I can't leave without telling you about this record. It's called "Mirrored" and the band behind it is called Battles.
I'm pretty sure that it is *the* record of 2007 for me. (Save for track 2 and its smurf boogie kraut.)
The first time I realised this was when I was listening to this record was in Oslo, going to the airport at 6 AM. The skies were "Brothers in arms"-skies and then some. The weather was chilly. And Battles tore my head apart completely, sending chills down my spine as I was drifting in and out of a daze.

Good record.
