Had small bit role in Cocktail (1988) where he can be sitting at the Jamaican bar, for which he received no credit.
Has two sons, James Gabriel Eckhouse (Gabe) and John Alexander Eckhouse (Zander).
Jim Walsh, Eckhouse's character on "Beverly Hills, 90210" (1990), was ranked #41 in TV Guide's list of the "50 Greatest TV Dads of All Time" [20 June 2004 issue].
